It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  No, we are not referring to the end of the year holidays.  We are talking about library summer conference season, of course. That time of year when the business cards come out, the presentations go on, and the networking and educational opportunitiesget craaaaazy!  Hold onto your lanyards folks, because iBraryGuy is hitting the road with you.

Our first stop along the conference continuum is just days away.  iBraryGuy founder and co-editor John DiGilio will be coming to you live from the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO in beautiful Vancouver, Canada.  It promises to be an action-packed couple of days and John is going to be busy.  In addition to delivering the annual Treasurer’s Address during the Association’s business meeting, he is part of the panel that presents the wildly popular “60 Sites in 60 Minutes“.  Hosted by SLA’s Legal Division and sponsored by LexisNexis, this year’s session already looks like it will be a standing room only affair.  So if you want a seat, get there early!  John would love to meet you!  The session is on Tuesday, June 10, at 11 AM.  John will be joined on the panel by Lexis’ own Gayle Lynn-Nelson and Samuel Wiggins of Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP.

In July, co-editor Stoh Jonjak will be strapping on his spurs as he heads west to San Antonio, TX, and the 107th Annual Meeting & Conference of the American Association of Law Libraries,  Also having a packed schedule, it is going to be tough to corral him.  Fear not, however, as Stosh too is eager to make your acquaintance.  You will find him two-stepping around the exhibit hall as he looks for the next big apps and tools for his popular series of iBraryGuy reviews.  The AALL Annual Meeting and its “Beyond Boundaries” theme kicks off on July 12 and runs until the 15th.
